I'm off on a 7-week jaunt in Europe in just a couple of days, so won't be spending too much time thinking about the anthology. But I will be checking my email from time to time as the submission period (May 1 - Sept 30) approaches. If you have a question you'd like answered before submitting, drop me a note and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Three submissions received already, ahead of the submission period which is May 1 - Sept. 30. That in itself is no problem. But two of the three do not conform to the guidelines. Which is a pity.

Added new pages to the blog, including For Writers, which responds to the questions, "What are you looking for in submissions", and Timeline, a v. rough draft of how this project should/could proceed. In the past two days I have distributed the anthology guidelines to seven websites and about a dozen writers and editors in my network.

Just in time for International Women's Day we started distributing the calls for submission, began to put together a group of writers, editors and readers to make up the editorial collective, and began developing our budget, project plan and communications plan.
